On Monday, January 29, 2024, at around 8:20 am, the Northwest Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle crash in the 200 block of East Bailey Boswell Blvd. The incident involved an 18-wheeler and a motorcycle.
Saginaw officers and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they pronounced the motorcycle operator deceased.
Following investigations, it was revealed that the truck driver, heading north on Jarvis, attempted to make a left turn westbound onto Bailey Boswell Blvd. Simultaneously, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the 200 block of Bailey Boswell Blvd and collided with the rear of the truck. The impact ejected the motorcycle operator from the vehicle.
Investigators suspect that speed played a role in the crash.
As of January 31, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet identified the individual.
