On January 29, 2024, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance in progress. The call, received from a distressed female, indicated a heated altercation with a male. The caller would not answer any of the questions. The call was abruptly disconnected, and attempts to reach the caller were unsuccessful.
Within minutes, a subsequent 911 call reported a male allegedly assaulting individuals at a neighboring residence on Spring St in Alvarado. The assailant was reported to have left the scene on foot. Deputies arrived at the location, where they located and detained the male suspect down the street from the residence.
Upon detaining the individual, Deputy Parson requested medical assistance for multiple assault victims at the scene. The suspect was taken into custody and subsequently transported to corrections by Deputy Parson. The incident is currently under investigation by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
