Killeen Police Arrest Seven, Seize Drugs and Firearms in Cantabrian Operation

In a special operation on Friday, January 26, 2024, Killeen Police detectives, along with the Organized Crime Unit and the Violent Crime Action Team (VCAT), joined forces with Patrol Officers and a K9 Officer for a targeted detail in the Cantabrian area.

Responding to multiple complaints about crime and narcotics in the Cantabrian locality, law enforcement conducted numerous traffic stops based on established probable cause. The operation resulted in several arrests and the seizure of illicit substances. Over the course of the 4-hour detail, approximately forty (40) traffic stops were carried out, leading to seven arrests. Additionally, seven arrest warrants were served, comprising four felonies and three misdemeanors.

The law enforcement efforts yielded the discovery of two firearms, along with 13 grams of Methamphetamine, 70 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 7.9 grams of marijuana, and 1.7 grams of fentanyl. The apprehended individuals were subsequently transported to the Killeen City Jail.
