On October 28, 2023, at approximately 5:20 pm, a 19-year-old woman visited the 4000 block of Polaris Dr in North Irving with the intention of purchasing a firearm from an individual. During the encounter, she was robbed at gunpoint, and the suspect took $650 in cash before fleeing the scene. The victim reported the incident to the Irving Police, providing them with a description of the suspect.
Irving Police investigators acted on the information and identified the suspect as 18-year-old Jaidon Pierce, a resident of Irving and graduate of MacArthur High School. Jaidon Pierce lives in an apartment on Block Dr, just a couple of blocks away from where the crime occurred. He was subsequently apprehended by law enforcement and charged with aggravated robbery.
