On Saturday, December 30, 2023, at around 8:57 am, Irving Police responded to a disturbance call at the 4200 block of Las Brisas Dr in North Irving. Upon arrival, officers discovered a Toyota Camry parked on the street with two individuals present.
Investigations revealed that 22-year-old Elijah Wilson from Dallas had allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old woman, resulting in pain. Wilson was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief for damaging the woman's iPhone 12, estimated at $1,096. Additionally, he faces charges of domestic violence aggravated assault causing bodily injury and interference with an emergency call.
Authorities also noted an open warrant issued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for a 2021 arrest related to assault family violence. Wilson's total bond was set at $18,000. On January 2, 2024, he was transferred to the Dallas County Jail to await further legal proceedings.
