In the early hours of January 2, 2024, Irving Police Officers responded to a burglary of a building in progress call. Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered a man identified as 36-year-old Jason Satchell from Dallas, attempting to flee the premises. Following a foot pursuit, officers successfully apprehended Satchell and took him into custody.
Satchell was booked into the Irving Jail at 3:50 am, facing charges of burglary of a building and evading arrest detention. The bond for these two charges was set at $2,500. Additionally, Satchell had three outstanding warrants issued by the Dallas City Marshal's Office for misdemeanor violations.
