On the evening of December 9, 2023, an Irving police officer stopped a driver for suspected drunk driving. The individual, identified as 33-year-old Eduardo Fuentes-Reyes, attempted to evade the officer on foot during the stop. Following a brief pursuit, law enforcement successfully apprehended Fuentes-Reyes.
Upon searching the suspect, authorities discovered he was in possession of fentanyl. Subsequently, Fuentes-Reyes was booked into the Irving Jail at 7:02 pm. He now faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI - BLOOD), possession of a controlled substance (cs pg 1/1-b <1g), and evading arrest detention.
The total bond amount set for Fuentes-Reyes is $9,500. The Irving Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
