The survey focused on men and women aged 18 and above, revealing that 21.1% of adults in Sherman-Denison reported heavy or binge-drinking.
According to 24/7 Tempo's data, the population of Sherman-Denison stands at 143,131, and the countywide driving deaths involving alcohol were reported at 23.6%.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highlights that one in six American adults participates in excessive drinking on a single occasion. The CDC defines binge drinking as the consumption of five or more drinks on one occasion for men, and four or more drinks for women.
