In a bid to enhance access to technology, Valley Ranch Library has introduced a Chromebook borrowing service, now available to eligible cardholders. The Chromebooks, housed in a self-service locker, are up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis for a two-hour loan period, allowing users the flexibility to utilize them anywhere inside the library.
To be eligible for this service, cardholders must possess full-service adult cards in good standing. However, certain card types, including TexShare, eCards, and corporate cards, are excluded from participating in the Chromebook lending program.
