At approximately 8:20 pm on November 28, 2023, Fort Worth officers were dispatched to John Peter Smith Hospital in response to a victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the shooting had taken place at an undisclosed location near Glen Garden Drive in Fort Worth. The victim, an adult male, reported that he had been searching for a pizza restaurant featured in a TikTok video.
The victim pulled over to research the address when an unidentified adult male approached, brandished a handgun, and announced a robbery. The victim stated that the suspect fired one shot, striking him in the right arm. The victim sought refuge at a friend's house on Glen Garden Drive and was later transported to the hospital by another individual for a non-life-threatening injury.
As of now, there is no suspect in custody, and the Gun Violence Unit has been requested to respond to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
