Altercation Over Unpaid Car Purchase Results in Auto-Pedestrian Crash, Serious Injuries at Fort Worth QuikTrip

On Sunday, November 26, at 10:36 pm, Fort Worth police responded to an auto-pedestrian crash at the QuikTrip on Bryant Irvin Road.

Authorities report that the incident unfolded when one person allegedly sold her vehicle to another woman who subsequently stopped making payments. The registered owner located the vehicle at a gas pump, where she and her boyfriend blocked it in with two vehicles. An argument ensued, leading the driver to back into the vehicle owner and her boyfriend before hastily driving away.

The victims, the vehicle owner, and her boyfriend sustained serious injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

Following the incident, the woman who had been driving the vehicle proceeded to a short distance and contacted the police. She is said to be fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

Detectives are currently reviewing the details of the case to determine whether any charges will be filed in connection with the auto-pedestrian crash.
