IRVING, Texas — A Dallas man was arrested and charged with stalking and drug possession after Irving police responded to a harassment call at a residence last week.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 9:32 p.m. on June 5th to a residence in the 4000 block of Avalon Avenue, in the vicinity of Compton Avenue and Conflans Road, after receiving a 911 call regarding a man allegedly harassing a 30-year-old woman.

According to the Irving Police Department, officers spoke with the woman and determined through their investigation that 21-year-old Orlando Hernandez of Dallas had been stalking her throughout the day.

During the investigation, officers also found Hernandez in possession of an illegal narcotic. Authorities further discovered he had two outstanding felony warrants issued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office on drug-related charges.

Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Irving Jail on charges of Stalking and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 between one and four grams. Both offenses are third-degree felonies under Texas law.

Police said the outstanding warrants were for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B. Hernandez had previously been arrested on May 16, 2026, in connection with those cases and was out on bond at the time of his latest arrest.

His bond was set at $65,000, and he remains in custody at the Dallas County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
