Officers were dispatched at approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 1, 2026, to the 2400 block of Concord Drive, south of W. Irving Boulevard, after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.

According to the victim, she had been asleep when her husband, 37-year-old Scott Andrew Breeden, woke her because she had burned a pizza.

The victim told officers that when she entered the kitchen, Breeden became angry and threw a pizza cutter at her, striking her in the face.

Police said the victim suffered pain and visible injuries from the impact.

Responding officers located Breeden and took him into custody.

He was transported to the Irving Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence.
