Driver Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 114 Service Road in Southlake

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash along the eastbound service road of State Highway 114 in Southlake, according to authorities.

Police and fire crews with the Southlake Police Department and Southlake Fire Department responded at approximately 8:14 a.m. on May 13, 2026, to the 600 block of the eastbound Highway 114 service road near the Dove Road intersection.

Emergency responders found two vehicles involved in the collision.

Firefighters extricated the driver, who was the sole occupant of one of the vehicles, authorities said.

The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Grapevine, where the individual was later pronounced dead.

Officials said the identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of family members.

The other driver involved in the crash was not injured.

Authorities closed the eastbound service road for several hours while investigators processed the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
