IRVING, Texas — A man has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault at a hotel near DFW Airport, according to police.
Officers responded around 11:27 p.m. on April 10, 2026, to an indecent exposure call at the Aloft DFW Airport North Hotel located at the 4900 block of Regent Blvd (off of I-635).
Dispatchers reported an intoxicated woman was in a lobby bathroom half naked from the waist down. The caller also said a suspicious man was seen hanging out at the lobby and a detailed description was provided. A hotel employee told officers the woman claimed the man had sexually assaulted her in a room.
Police detained the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Timoteo Flores, upon arrival.
Investigators determined Flores and the victim had been drinking together at the hotel bar before returning to a room, where an argument occurred. Both were intoxicated during the incident, police said.
According to investigators, Flores told the woman he wanted to have sex, and she refused. Police said Flores then pushed her onto a bed, held her down using his body weight and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim was able to push him away and flee to the lobby.
During the altercation, authorities said Flores also smashed a beer bottle inside the room.
Flores was arrested and initially charged with attempted sexual assault, a third-degree felony. The charge was later upgraded to sexual assault, a second-degree felony.
He has since bonded out of jail, and the case remains pending in Dallas County courts.
