Irving Police Arrest 24-Year-Old for Child Pornography, ICE Says He Had Final Order of Removal

Orvin Fuentes-Borjas

IRVING, Texas - A tip regarding online activity led Irving Police to arrest 24-year-old Orvin Bayardo Fuentes-Borjas on March 5, 2026. Fuentes-Borjas faces a felony charge of Possession of Child Pornography – Over 50 Visual Depictions after a search of his electronic devices uncovered at least 50 images dealing with child sexual abuse.

Following his initial booking into the Irving Jail, Fuentes-Borjas was transferred to the Dallas County Jail the following day. While his bond was set at $100,000, he remains in custody due to a federal detainer.

Investigative Details

The investigation was triggered by a tip concerning the suspect's digital footprint. Detectives allege that Fuentes-Borjas was actively searching for and downloading child sex abuse material (CSAM). Forensic examinations conducted by Irving Police investigators confirmed the presence of the illegal files on the seized devices.

Immigration Status and Federal Detainer

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Fuentes-Borjas is an undocumented immigrant who was already subject to a final order of removal.

ICE officials issued a formal detainer with the Dallas County Jail to ensure he is transferred into federal custody upon the resolution of his local criminal charges. An ICE spokesperson emphasized that the detainer was issued because "regardless of the outcome of these charges, he does not belong in our country."
