FORT WORTH, TX - A pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ended in a crash Saturday afternoon at the Interstate 20 service road and Hulen Street, sending two people to the hospital, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Police said officers were alerted by a FLOCK license plate reader that a stolen vehicle was in the area. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver refused to stop and fled, leading officers on a pursuit.
The chase ended when the suspect vehicle collided with another vehicle at the I-20 service road and Hulen Street. Officers detained the occupants of the stolen vehicle at the scene.
One occupant from the suspect vehicle was transported to an area hospital with injuries that have not been disclosed. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was also taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
No additional details about charges or the condition of those involved have been released. The incident remains under investigation.
