Irving Man Threatens Roommates With a Knife; ICE Hold Requested

Wilfredo Hernandez-Molinares

On Tuesday, September 16th, around 2:09 a.m., an Irving Police officer responded to a domestic incident at the La Puerta Azul Apartments in the 3300 block of Willow Creek Drive, across from The Home Depot.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with two victims, a male and a female, who stated that their roommate, 40-year-old Wilfredo Hernandez-Molinares, had been drinking earlier in the day and barged into their bedroom, threatening them with imminent bodily harm while wielding a 7-inch kitchen knife. Hernandez-Molinares reportedly told the victims he was going to “take care of them” and claimed he “knew other people who could.”

Hernandez-Molinares was arrested on two counts of Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and transported to the Irving Jail. Because he is in the country illegally, INS-DFW has requested an Immigration-ICE hold.
