Dallas Police Department is appealing to the public for information regarding a homicide case from 2023 in the 5200 block of E RL Thornton Freeway.
On December 16, 2023, at the 5200 block of E RL Thornton Freeway, 38-year-old Jose Luis Ramirez was fatally shot while driving a 2013 black Chrysler 300. The incident occurred just before the South Harwood bridge entrance. Ramirez succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation into this event is ongoing and has been assigned case number 224546-2023.
