TxDOT will perform overnight work on SH 183, SH 114, Spur 482 and Loop 12 through May 25. Expect lane and road closures, with delays and heavy traffic affecting the surrounding highways, frontage roads and streets.
SH 183
- DAYTIME CLOSURE: The eastbound SH 183 frontage road, from Carl Road to Loop 12, will be closed Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- MAIN LANE CLOSURE: The eastbound SH 183 main lanes, from Loop 12 to Maryland Drive, will be closed Friday, May 17, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound SH 183 direct connector to southbound Loop 12 will be closed Friday, May 17, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to northbound Loop 12 will be closed Friday, May 17, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound SH 183 Carl Road exit will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, May 20 through Thursday, May 23.
- The eastbound SH 183 frontage road, from Carl Road to Loop 12, will be closed Friday, May 17, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
LOOP 12
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The southbound Loop 12 Grauwyler Road exit ramp will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Monday, May 20 to Thursday, May 23.
- The northbound Loop 12 Union Bower entrance ramp will be closed Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and again, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, from Monday, May 20 to Friday, May 24.
- The southbound Loop 12 Union Bower exit ramp will be closed Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and again, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, from Monday, May 20 to Friday, May 24.
- The southbound Loop 12 frontage road will be closed from Darr Street to Union Bower Road Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and again, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, from Monday, May 20 to Friday, May 24.
Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.
