On May 2, 2024, Irving Police Officers arrested 26-year-old Adam Majer in Las Colinas. Majer is charged with Possession of Child Pornography with intent to Promote/Distribute (1st degree felony) and Possession of Child Pornography (3rd degree felony). The investigation into Majer started after Irving Police received a cybertip.
These are serious charges against Majer. In Texas, a 1st degree felony for Child Porn usually means that the child in the photos or videos is under the age of 13. He is looking at jail time if convicted, up to 99 years in state prison. Additionally, all individuals convicted for a child pornography-related offense must register as a sex offender through the State's Sex Offender Registration Program.
