TxDOT will perform daytime and overnight work on SH 183, SH 114, Spur 482 and Loop 12 through March 3. Expect lane and road closures, with delays and heavy traffic affecting the surrounding highways, frontage roads and streets.
SH 183
- Eastbound SH 183 main lanes, from Loop 12 to Grauwyler Road, will be closed Friday, Feb. 23, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. View Detour Map.
- This section also will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 and Thursday, Feb. 29, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to northbound Loop 12 will be closed Sunday, Feb. 25 and Monday, Feb. 26, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- It also will be closed Thursday, Feb. 29 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 183 frontage road will be closed from Tucasa Drive to the Loop 12 frontage road from Friday, Feb. 23, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- This section also will be closed Sunday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 1, nightly, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- DAYTIME CLOSURE: It also will be closed Saturday, Feb. 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The eastbound SH 183 frontage road will be closed from Peters Road to Grauwyler Road on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 183 Maryland Drive exit will be closed Monday, Feb. 26 through Friday, March 1, nightly, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound SH 183 Carl Road exit will be closed Thursday, Feb. 29 and Friday, March 1 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
LOOP 12
- The southbound Loop 12 frontage road will be closed from SH 183 to Grauwyler Road on Friday, Feb. 23from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- This section also will be closed Sunday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 1, nightly, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- DAYTIME CLOSURE: It also will be closed Saturday, Feb. 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The northbound Loop 12 Texas Plaza exit will be closed Monday, Feb. 26from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The exit also will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The southbound Loop 12 Union Bower exit will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The northbound Loop 12 frontage road, as well as on-ramps, will be closed from Union Bower to Grauwyler Road Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
SH 114
- The eastbound SH 114 frontage road will be closed from Loop 12 to Spur 482 on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound SH 114 exit for Spur 482 will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 114 on ramp between Loop 12 and Spur 482 is closed until further notice.
- The eastbound SH 114 direct connect to southbound Loop 12 is closed until further notice.
SPUR 482
- Northbound Spur 482 will be closed from Maryland Drive to SH 114 on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Southbound Spur 482 will be closed from Century Center Boulevard to SH 114 on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.
