Irving Police arrested 37-year-old Julia Marie Jewett of Irving on Wednesday morning, February 14, 2024, following an investigation into drug dealing. Officers took Jewett into custody without incident at the 2400 block of Dewitt St in North Irving.
Jewett was booked into the Irving Jail at 10:42 am and charged with 2 counts of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, which are first-degree felonies, possession of a prohibited weapon, a third-degree felony, and child abandonment/endangerment. Her total bond was set at $70,000.
Records show that Jewett has a previous conviction for possession of controlled substances and has violated probation in the past. In 2015, she was convicted of child abandonment/endangerment without intent to return, for which she received probation/community supervision and spent 30 days in jail.
