The City of Irving's Communications Department Neighborhood Services division has been actively working towards fostering engagement within the community and improving communication between residents and the city. Over the past two years, Neighborhood Services has focused on increasing the number of registered neighborhood associations in Irving.
Neighborhood Services has been involved in several key activities:
- Encouraging and assisting with the organization of neighborhood associations.
- Providing support to existing neighborhood associations.
- Developing educational opportunities for neighborhood associations.
- Facilitating the Neighborhood Grant Program.
In a recent development, Neighborhood Services has unveiled a new logo and brand for the program. The new brand aims to promote a shared sense of pride and belonging among registered city neighborhood and homeowners associations. Reflecting the division's significant growth over the past two years, the logo features a green and gold color scheme.
This new branding will be integrated across various platforms including graphics, websites, email newsletters, and other materials presented by the division.
