Late Saturday night, on January 27, 2024, Irving Officers responded to a disturbance call at the Studio 6 Motel located on the 3900 block of W. Airport Freeway. Four officers arrived at the scene and discovered an altercation in one of the rooms involving two women and two individuals, a 44-year-old man, and a 44-year-old woman.
26-year-old Egleydis Martinez-Delgado has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault causing minor injury. Her bond has been set at $50,000. Additionally, 46-year-old Yolimar Pena faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with her bond also set at $50,000. Both Martinez-Delgado and Pena are reported to be illegal aliens in the U.S., leading to INS requesting an immigration-ice hold on both individuals.
On January 29, 2024, Yolimar Pena was transferred to the Dallas County Jail.
