In the early morning of January 18, 2024, Irving police officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at the 1100 block of Hidden Ridge, located in The Stations at MacArthur Apartments. Upon arrival, they discovered a 32-year-old man, identified as Duniesky Hernandez-Torriente, inside the apartment with an injury to his finger.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a heated argument had taken place between Hernandez-Torriente and 29-year-old Alicia Lariot-Cordova. During the altercation, Lariot-Cordova produced a knife and attempted to stab Hernandez-Torriente. In an effort to defend himself, he raised his hand, resulting in a minor injury to his finger from the stabbing.
Following the incident, Lariot-Cordova was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, classified as a second-degree felony in Texas. On January 19th, she was transferred to the Dallas County Jail, where her bond was set at $40,000.
