The City of Irving's third edition of its Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) recently received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (PAFR award) from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This recognition is a significant milestone for Irving.
To qualify for the award, the city had to submit its annual comprehensive financial report to GFOA for evaluation and receive a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year in question. The judging process involved assessing criteria such as reader appeal, understandability, distribution methods, and creativity.
Interested individuals can access Irving's Fiscal Year 2021-22 PAFR online or in print. Additionally, the city plans to release the FY23 PAFR in March/April 2024.
