FORT WORTH, Texas — Two people were killed in a crash early Wednesday morning on Highway 287 in far north Fort Worth, according to authorities.
Fort Worth Fire and Police responded at approximately 2:25 a.m. on June 17 to a major accident on northbound Highway 287 near Harmon Road and North Tarrant Parkway.
When emergency crews arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the collision.
The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victims as 61-year-old Kham En Mang and 24-year-old Nicolas Martino Hernandez.
Investigators have not released details regarding what led to the crash.
The northbound lanes of Highway 287 remained closed for several hours during the early morning as Fort Worth police conducted an investigation and worked to clear the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
