IRVING, Texas — A 52-year-old man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in front of employees at a Denny’s restaurant in Irving during the lunch hour, according to the Irving Police Department.
Officers were dispatched on June 9, 2026, to the Denny’s located in the 4100 block of W. Airport Freeway near Esters Road after receiving a report of indecent exposure.
According to 911 call information, a man described as a Black male with long dreadlocks and a dark-colored shirt was exposing himself while seated in a booth inside the restaurant.
When officers arrived, they made contact with 52-year-old Brodrick Nelson, who matched the description provided by witnesses.
Police reported that officers immediately noticed a large hole in the crotch area of Nelson’s pants.
Restaurant employees told officers that while receiving his food, Nelson had exposed his genitals and was holding himself in view of staff members. Employees further alleged that he began masturbating while looking at a waitress and continued the behavior when other employees approached his table.
According to investigators, three restaurant employees were identified as victims in the incident.
Officers arrested Nelson at the scene and transported him to the Irving Jail.
He was charged with three counts of Indecent Exposure.
A restaurant employee later said staff members attempted to handle the situation calmly because families and children were present inside the restaurant during the incident. She said Nelson had a "sick, devilish" look.
