Corsicana Man Arrested for Burglary, Assault After Entering Woman's Home

On October 26, 2025, Corsicana Police Officers responded to a welfare check in the 200 block of S 18th Street. Upon arrival, they spoke to a female victim who reported that earlier that day she and her boyfriend had a physical altercation outside the city limits.

The victim returned home, but her boyfriend followed her and began knocking on doors and windows. Finding an unsecured window, the suspect entered the residence without consent. Despite the victim’s repeated instructions to leave, the suspect allegedly assaulted her and took her phone when she tried to call for help. He then fled the scene.

The victim was able to use a neighbor’s phone to contact police. Officers quickly obtained an arrest warrant for Burglary of a Habitation – Intend Assault or Other Felony, a first-degree felony, and later an additional warrant for Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance, a Class A misdemeanor.

The suspect was located at a different residence and taken into custody without further incident.
