Two teenage drivers were arrested by Irving Police Officers on Sunday night after officers observed them racing recklessly, putting other drivers on the road in danger.
The incident occurred when an officer spotted the two vehicles racing and called for backup. Responding officers successfully stopped both vehicles.
The drivers, 18-year-old Santiago Rodriguez-Alvarez and 17-year-old Emilio Rosales-Hernandez, were taken into custody and booked into the Irving Jail at around 11:30 pm. Bond was set at $500 each for both individuals.
