In a recent court session, the probation revocation hearing for 22-year-old Deng Ajack, concerning an aggravated robbery case, reached its conclusion with a guilty verdict. Ajack stood accused of violating the terms of his probation related to a June 2019 aggravated robbery.
The prosecution, led by Tommy Adams with Krystal Biggins as second chair, presented evidence suggesting Ajack's involvement in further criminal activities subsequent to his probationary period. Alongside co-defendants Anthony Lewis and Antony Taylor, Ajack was implicated in the capital murder of Leslie Baker in North Dallas on May 25, 2020. Additionally, Ajack and his accomplices were involved in unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and aggravated robbery in Richardson on the same day.
Since his arrest on June 15, 2020, Ajack has been in custody awaiting trial. Testimony during the probation revocation hearing shed light on various incidents involving Ajack, including assaults on fellow inmates for their commissary items.
The collaborative efforts of the Dallas Police Department, Richardson Police Department, FBI, and US Marshals Task Force were acknowledged for their role in the investigation.
Following the hearing, Ajack entered a guilty plea and received a 50-year prison sentence for his involvement in the aforementioned crimes.
