Late Tuesday night, emergency services in Watauga swiftly responded to a collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Park Vista Blvd and Watauga Road. Authorities arrived to find a motorcyclist in critical condition. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers and medical personnel, the rider, identified as a 28-year-old from Haltom City, was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were reported as non-life-threatening.
Watauga Police Department has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
