In observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday, the City of Irving has announced closures and changes to regular services for Monday, January 20, 2025.
Trash and Recycling Services
There will be no trash, recycling, brush, or bulky waste collections on January 20. Regular collection schedules will resume on Tuesday, January 21.
Hunter Ferrell Landfill
The Hunter Ferrell Landfill will also be closed on January 20 and will reopen on January 21 during regular business hours.
Facility Closures
The following facilities will be closed on January 20:
- City Hall
- Criminal Justice Center
- Heritage Aquatic Center
- Hunter Ferrell Landfill
- Irving Archives and Museum
- Irving Arts Center
- Irving Public Libraries
- North Lake Natatorium
- Irving Recreation Centers
All offices and facilities will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 21.
