The Fort Worth Police Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on December 6, 2024, at approximately 11:51 PM. near 2400 Azle Avenue and Ephriham Avenue (eastbound) in the Far Greater Northside area.
A dark-colored, four-door sedan, possibly a BMW, struck a pedestrian and fled the scene without rendering aid. The victim was a white woman identified as 44-year-old Sharon Melissa WEbster.
Police are urging anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver involved to contact Detective Pearce at 817-392-4868, referencing Report #240096635.
A picture of the suspected vehicle has been released to aid in the investigation.
