The holiday season is in full swing across North Texas, and there’s still time to enjoy DART’s festive holiday trains and buses. This year’s theme, “Explore a DARTable Wonderland,” features custom-designed snow globes representing each of DART’s 13 member cities.
DART’s holiday trains and buses have become a beloved tradition, spreading cheer across the region during the festive season. The holiday trains, wrapped in hundreds of twinkling lights, will make regularly scheduled stops at stations throughout DART’s 700-mile service area. Two holiday trains will operate through December, offering passengers a chance to experience the season in a magical way.
In addition to the trains, three DART holiday buses will travel various routes throughout the service area until the end of 2024. Transit enthusiasts can catch these buses at the Rowlett Holiday Parade on December 14th, or track them using the GoPass App.
“We’re excited to have these vehicles transporting our passengers during this festive season and look forward to seeing them at holiday events across our member cities,” said Jeamy Molina, EVP and Chief Communications Officer for DART.
