Irving Woman Arrested for Two-Day Assault of Victim, Has Violent Past

Heidi Michelle Morrison

On Friday, September 20, 2024, at approximately 7:00 PM, Irving Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home in Irving.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim who reported being physically assaulted by 25-year-old Heidi Michelle Morrison. The victim stated that Morrison had assaulted them both that day and the previous day, causing injury. Morrison was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Violence Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a third-degree felony in Texas.  Due to the ongoing investigation and privacy concerns, the Irving Police Department did not reveal the victim's information.

Morrison has a violent past. In 2020, she spent three days in Dallas County Jail after hitting her boyfriend with a skateboard. This resulted in a charge and conviction of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Earlier, in 2019, Morrison was charged with Family Violence after an arrest for hitting and kicking the same victim. However, that charge was later dismissed after her conviction in the 2020 case.

Three officers responded to the incident.
