On Tuesday, December 10th, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Dallas Fire Rescue and Police responded to a fatal accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 near Interstate 20. Preliminary investigations indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed at the scene.
Due to the ongoing investigation, several lanes of I-45 were closed for a few hours. Dallas police continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released at this time.
