Irving Heritage Park Hosts Festive Holiday Events Starting December 10

Heritage Park in Irving is the place to be this holiday season, offering a lineup of free, family-friendly events throughout December to celebrate the festive spirit.

December 10 – Parade, Tree Lighting, and Drone Show
The festivities kick off on December 10 at 7 p.m. with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Drone Show. Visitors can enjoy live music, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and the iconic lighting of the holiday tree. The evening will feature a dazzling drone show to mark the season's start.

December 13 – Live Music and Holiday Movie Night
Starting at 7 p.m., enjoy the festive tunes of the Merry Band of Christmas, followed by a screening of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas on the Heritage Screen. The first 100 guests will receive free popcorn.

December 14 – Carol-Oke and Crafts
Families can join in the fun at 6 p.m. with “Carol-Oke,” where attendees can sing their favorite holiday tunes or craft holiday ornaments to take home. Activities include dancing in an inflatable disco dome, with free hot chocolate available for the first 100 guests.

December 20 – Dance Performances and Movie Night
Celebrate the holidays with local dance groups performing at 7 p.m., followed by Disney's A Christmas Carol. Free popcorn will be provided to the first 100 attendees.

December 21 – Photos with Santa and Entrepreneur Market
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy live performances while taking photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Families can ride the train and shop for last-minute gifts at the Children's Entrepreneur Market. Performances by the Nimitz and Irving High School Choirs will enhance the festive atmosphere.

With activities for all ages, Heritage Park offers a holiday experience not to be missed.
