On Saturday, December 7, 2024, around 4 a.m., Fort Worth Fire Department crews responded to two separate emergencies across the city.

The first incident involved a fire at a motel located in the 7500 block of Camp Bowie Boulevard West. Upon arrival, Engine 16 crews observed flames coming from the roof and initiated an offensive attack. The fire was contained to the laundry room, and no injuries were reported. Guests were allowed to return to their rooms once the scene was cleared. However, due to the building's lack of electricity amid cold and rainy weather, the American Red Cross assisted with relocating those displaced.

Simultaneously, Engine 39 responded to a vehicle that had crashed into a dialysis facility at 4804 Bryant Irvin Road. No one was inside the building at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle was treated at the scene by MedStar and transported to a local hospital. Fire crews removed the car from the building and boarded up the damaged structure.

Both incidents were successfully managed without further complications.
