Rain and Cold Temps Force Rescheduling of Holidays at Heritage Events in Heritage Park

The U.S. National Weather Service – Fort Worth, Texas office has forecasted rain and cold temperatures for this weekend, prompting changes to the Holidays at Heritage festivities in Heritage Park. The safety of participants and attendees of the Tree Lighting and Parade events is the highest priority, according to officials.

Due to the inclement weather, all outdoor activities planned for Saturday, December 7th, including the parade, have been canceled. However, the Tree Lighting, Live Music, and Drone Show have been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 10th, at 7 p.m. at Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St. Following the event, the holiday lights exhibit at Centennial Park, located at 444 W. 2nd St., will open.

While the parade could not be rescheduled for 2024, organizers are already planning for an exciting event in 2025.
