The Dallas Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest connected to a fatal shooting that occurred on October 4, 2024.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4600 block of Lake Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Michael Deandre Reed inside an apartment with gunshot wounds. Reed was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing under case number 151765-2024.
