Parker County Sheriff's Unit Arrests Crip Gang Member in Fentanyl Distribution Case

Sergio Valente Snider

The Parker County Sheriff’s Special Crimes Unit (SCU) has arrested Sergio Valente Snider, 37, a confirmed Crip gang member, in connection with an illegal fentanyl distribution ring. The investigation, which spanned several months and involved multiple agencies, led to the seizure of approximately 350 grams (3,500 pills) of suspected fentanyl.

The case originated with the Springtown Police, who seized 20 grams (200 pills) of suspected fentanyl during an initial investigation. SCU investigators identified Snider, known for his drug operations in the Fort Worth area, as the supplier.

In collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations Fort Worth Gangs and Violent Crimes, Fort Worth Police, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Mid Cities Narcotics Task Force, SCU investigators conducted undercover purchases that helped dismantle Snider’s drug trafficking organization.

On October 16, authorities conducted an enforcement operation that led to Snider’s arrest for federal violations related to fentanyl distribution.

“This operation’s success is a direct result of our partnership with multi-jurisdictional agencies,” said Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier. “We appreciate the cooperative efforts of Homeland Security Investigations, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Mid Cities Narcotics Task Force, and the Springtown and Fort Worth Police Departments.”

Snider is currently in federal custody at the Johnson County Jail and is awaiting prosecution in the Northern District.
