On the evening of Thursday, November 28, 2024, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of Broadmoor Drive, located in the Western Hills North area. Officials report that two individuals were sitting in a vehicle when they were approached by two men. During the encounter, at least three men opened fire, resulting in a chaotic exchange of gunfire.
Emergency crews arrived to find three individuals with gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other two were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts to save him, one of the victims later succumbed to his injuries.
One suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
The Fort Worth Police Department's homicide unit is actively investigating the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
