During overnight hours, TxDOT work on the Irving Interchange project June 2-9 and will affect Irving motorists using Loop 12 and State Highways (SH) 183 and 114, as well as frontage roads and surrounding streets.
PERMANENT CLOSURE BEGINNING JUNE 2
- The cloverleaf to southbound Loop 12 will be closed through the end of the Irving Interchange Project in 2024. View the Detour Map.
FRIDAY, JUNE 2 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The westbound SH 183 Carl Road exit will be closed.
- The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The eastbound SH 114 direct connector to southbound Loop 12 will be closed.
MONDAY, JUNE 5 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The westbound SH 183 Carl Road exit will be closed.
- The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The northbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 114 will be closed.
TUESDAY, JUNE 6 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The westbound SH 183 Carl Road exit will be closed.
- The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The northbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 114 will be closed.
- Northbound Loop 12 frontage road will be closed from Grauwyler Road to SH 183.
- The northbound Loop 12 Texas Plaza exit ramp will be closed.
- 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The eastbound SH 183 frontage road will be closed from Loop 12 to Peters Road.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The westbound SH 114 frontage road will be closed from Regency Drive to Spur 482.
THURSDAY, JUNE 8 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The northbound Loop 12 frontage road will be closed from SH 183 to Texas Plaza.
FRIDAY, JUNE 9 FROM 8 P.M. TO 5 A.M.
- The northbound Spur 482 frontage road will be closed from Maryland Drive to SH 114.
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- Highway Closure, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Westbound SH 114 will be closed from International Place to Loop 12.
Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.
