On Sunday, October 27, Irving Police responded to a minor car accident at the intersection of Carl Rd and E. Grauwyler Rd. Officers determined that one driver, 30-year-old Samantha Iracheta, was intoxicated at the time of the collision. A blood test confirmed her intoxication, leading to her arrest on a DWI charge.
Further investigation revealed two prior DWI convictions for Iracheta. She was convicted of DWI in McAllen in 2016, receiving probation, and again in San Antonio in 2018, where she served a prison sentence with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). Iracheta now faces a third or more DWI charge.
