The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office has announced that 43-year-old Juan Gonzalez-Quiles of Grand Prairie was found guilty and sentenced by a jury to life in prison for the continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.
Gonzalez-Quiles sexually assaulted a young female family member over the course of several years.
The girl made an outcry about the sexual assault in August 2022 to a psychologist she was seeing for social anxiety.
The Grand Prairie Police Department handled the investigation. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Sydney Brock and Courtney Mowdy.
Gonzalez-Quiles has been incarcerated at the Lou Evans Corrections Center since his arrest on August 29, 2022.
