On May 15, 2024, 37-year-old Jesus Barajas was convicted of Indecency with a Child involving sexual contact.
The court sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
On May 20, 2022, Barajas was arrested by Balch Springs Police Officers for the crime.
The case was prosecuted by Conner Sheets and Michelle Shughart. The DA Office used four investigators in the case: Walter Clifton Jr., Howard Sparks, Lorraine Resendez, and Laura Brakefield.
