Early Sunday morning, tragedy struck on Northbound I-35 at Oaklawn in Dallas County. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Deputies responded to a fatal accident at 2:13 am on the service road exit to Market Center. The collision resulted in one fatality and two other individuals being rushed to nearby hospitals. The impact caused the vehicle to flip and collide with a power pole.
Emergency responders shut down the service road to manage the scene, while all highway lanes remained open to traffic. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
